Nostalgia is such a bittersweet feeling when you are watching your life on a screen 20 years later, and I still cry when I watch the home videos my mom filmed on a VHS camera. It reminds me of who I am, where I was, and what got me here. It is raw and human knowing these are just preserved memories in a computer file, but I am so grateful to know I can feel them forever. Time is a thief, taking everything with it but memories.
